Attorney Emily Swartz concentrates her practice in immigration law. She is a member of the District of Columbia bar, and is fluent in Spanish.

Emily earned a Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2016. During her time in law school, she received a fellowship to live and work in New Delhi, India, and volunteered for the Indiana Legal Services Migrant Farmworker Law Center. She graduated from the University of Alabama in 2013 with a degree in General Business and a minor in Spanish. In the Spring of 2012, she studied abroad in Havana, Cuba. This experience cemented her interest in immigration law. Before joining DMV Lawyers, she worked for Kids in Need of Defense in Washington, DC.
