Attorney Kristina Trujillo

Kristina Trujillo is a Cuban American attorney who specializes in immigration matters. Born and raised in South Florida to Cuban immigrants, she attended Florida International University where she received a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with a minor in criminal justice. Prior to law school, Kristina worked as a paralegal for bankruptcy, criminal, and civil litigation firms and discovered her passion for practicing law.

Kristina attended Florida International University College of Law. While at FIU Law, she interned at the Miami-Dade State Attorney Office and served as a student attorney at the FIU Immigration and Human Rights Clinic. At the clinic, Kristina focused mainly on asylum cases and removal defense.

Kristina went on to spend her last semester at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School and interned at the American Bar Association’s Commission on Immigration in Washington, D.C. While at the Commission, Kristina assisted pro se detainees across the country with their cases. Kristina graduated from Florida International University in 2019. Prior to joining Sanabria & Associates, Kristina worked for a civil litigation firm in Virginia, where she specialized in collection matters and contract disputes.

Attorney Trujillo is a member of the Virginia Bar. Kristina is fluent in both English and Spanish and looks forward to serving her community’s legal needs.
