Attorney Vanessa Baez

Attorney Vanessa Baez was born and raised in Miami, Florida. As a first generation American, she has strong ties to her Dominican heritage and speaks Spanish fluently. In 2015, She graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree.

After graduation, she went on to attend St. Thomas University School of Law. Vanessa was a St. Thomas University School of Law Merit Scholar Recipient and Pro Bono Service Award Recipient. During her time in law school, Vanessa worked as a law student representative for the St. Thomas Immigration Clinic and helped represent low-income clients in Asylum and Cancellation of Removal cases. She participated in various immigration pro bono projects including, but not limited to, Karnes Pro Bono Project, Somali Litigation, Broward Transitional Center Court Watching Project and as a Florida New American Pro Bono volunteer. In 2018, she obtained her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Vanessa is a Member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in Florida.

Prior to joining Sanabria and Associates, Vanessa had her own practice where she concentrated on family and immigration matters. Vanessa is part of the immigration team at Sanabria and Associates and is here to help you with your legal needs.
